There are countless types of metal detectors used in various industries today. From conveyer type metal detectors to hand-held type metal detectors, they can be found in almost all industries and serve various purposes.
Industrial metal detectors work to help keep us safe and healthy. For instance above is a picture of a type of metal detector that is used to detect metals in timber before it go's on to being cut, treated and sold. There are also very similar conveyor type metal detectors that work to detect foreign metal in products that will be sold to consumers, such as foods, clothes and other products that could harm or have adverse effects if not found.
Industrial metal detectors work day and night to provide a great service to both industry and the consumer. Without these metal detectors our lives would be changed dramatically.
